Healthy Oat Cookies


Who else loves a good cookie? I personally love oat cookies! Try this variation with dried blueberries and chocolate chips, so good.


Ingredients:

1/4 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup oats

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/8 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 egg

1/4 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup chocolate chips

2 Tbsp dried blueberries


Preheat oven to 350˙F.


In a bowl mix together flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix in vanilla, egg, peanut butter and syrup. Stir in chocolate and dried blueberries.


Spoon batter on non stick baking sheet, you should get 12 cookies. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool slightly before removing onto racks to cool fully before storing. Enjoy!

Note:

You can substitute any other dried fruit! Dried cranberries, cherries or raisins would also work great!
