This is the perfect summer treat! Very refreshing for a hot summer day, I love the combination of peaches with bourbon. This recipe features my peach jam recipe previously posted on the blog!
2 Tbsp peach Jam *
2 Tbsp bourbon of choice
1 small bottle ginger beer
1 cinnamon stick
1 sprig mint
In a short rocks glass add peach jam and bourbon, stir together. Add enough ice cubes to fill glass, and stir. Top off with ginger beer, enough to fill the glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick and mint sprig. Enjoy!
This cocktail is perfectly paired with the peach jam recipe since it adds a little cinnamon flavour and sweetness. If you would like to try this recipe if you don't have the jam recipe handy blend 2 peaches peeled & cored peaches in a food processor with a splash of honey and pinch of cinnamon. I would highly suggest trying the peach jam recipe though and making this.
Everyone has a different preference of choice of bourbon just for reference I used Basil Hayden's. And for ginger beer I used Fever Tree.
