Simple Cranberry Sauce
Updated: Feb 25, 2021

This is a super simple and delicious recipe for cranberry sauce!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
2/3 - 1 cup brown sugar
4 cups cranberries, frozen
pinch of salt
Add water, orange juice and brown sugar to a pot and bring to a boil. Once hot and sugar has dissolved add in cranberries. Cook for about 15 minutes, until cranberries pop open. Pour into a bowl and allow to cool. It will thicken up as it cools. Serve cold!

Notes:
Sweetness: I prefer a little tartness with my cranberry sauce, so I only put in 2/3 cup sugar. It is tart with only that amount though so feel free to put in the full cup if you'd like a sweeter sauce.
I like to make this the day before I need it to allow it to fully cool. You can make this up to 3 days in advance, does keep for a little while.
